July Already

Hello dear sisters! I just want to pop in really quick. How is it July already? Fourth of July is Monday but because of fire restrictions and the drought our small town fireworks are canceled but there will be some in Prescott should we decide put up with the crowds .July is also National Ice Cream Month so that means hopefully we will be making homemade ice cream. 🍦🍧

If I don’t have a chance to post, may my fellow United States friends have a blessed and safe 4th of July!

  1. Happy 4th of July to you too my dear friend. May the Lord keep everyone in your area safe from the dangers of fireworks. After living in Washington for so long, I definitely understand those dangers and the forest fires they caused in our area.
    Blessings and hugs,

  2. May your 4th July be a blessed day of rest and celebration Regina. We have just celebrated (with a long weekend) Matariki (mut – a -ree – kee), the Maori New Year. First time this has been a national holiday. Nothing that I attended – it was cold and bleak, and I was on Covid isolation at the time.

  3. Homemade ice cream; yum! Let me know when it’s ready so I can come over. Ice cream is my guilty pleasure. I have to on purposely not buy it that often. Hope you enjoy your 4th of July. My birthday is tomorrow then on to eating bbq and sitting outside to look at fireworks for us on Monday 😁.

  4. Our fireworks are canceled this year too but only because the civic field is under construction. I’m not sure what they’re doing to it. We’ll go to the parade though, a 30 year tradition in our family! I hope you have a wonderful holiday!
